On June 2003, all UBS business groups rebranded under the UBS name as the company began operating as one large firm. UBS is present in all major financial centers worldwide.

One of the more unusual businesses operated by UBS AG is the UBS Polybahn. This is a funicular railway in Zurich, Switzerland.
